“Dead Men Tell No Tales”…..
Be on the lookout for Captain Jack Sparrow on this classic Disney ride. Guests board this weathered pirate boat and take off on a 17th century adventure to see a number of Caribbean seaport towns.
Based on the highly successful movie franchise, the Pirates of the Caribbean ride is located within a fully air-conditioned building (which is great for the summertime in Florida), this voyage will take guests past Dead Man’s Cove, sail next to a life-sized pirate ship while it fires on the local shore and pass by dozens of audio-aminatronic pirates and villagers.
The funniest part of the ride is seeing the jailed pirates trying to During the ride you will hear the pirate song “Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate’s Life for Me” and at the end see Captain Jack sitting among all his pirate treasure.

This eight and one-half minute ride is located in the Adventureland section of the Magic Kingdom just past the Jungle Cruise and Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Designed by Disney Imagineer Marc Davis, this ride originally opened in 1973 and has been going strong ever since.
The Pirates of the Caribbean ride is suitable for all ages and there are no height restrictions. It is a fairly slow ride but it is a bit dark and at times, a little noisy. FastPass+ is offered and highly recommended as wait times will exceed 45 to 60 minutes on a typical summer day. If you can’t get a FastPass+, try to visit this experience first thing in the morning.
We should note that “The Pirates League” officially closed on July 27, 2020 so the pirate makeup and accessories are no longer being offered.
