Disney’s Contemporary Resort is one of Disney’s “Deluxe Resort” category hotels, providing an extensive array of amenities and a premium experience. The hotel is the closest to the Magic Kingdom and within walking distance from the front door.
The Contemporary is one of the original on-site hotels to open at Walt Disney World back in October 1971. The resort features 655 rooms and suites in a single 15-story tower building and three, three-story garden style buildings. The main “A-frame” style-tower includes the hotel lobby, dining options and recreational amenities.
